Architects & Designers
Internationally recognized Chief Architect of the World Trade Center from 1967 to 1994, and award winning residential Architect, Paul Marchese has been a Greenwich resident for over forty-five years. His long established firm, Paul Stephan Marchese and Associates, is a boutique Architecture and Interior Design firm specializing in elegant and unique residential homes located in Greenwich, Connecticut and the immediate area.
Since 2007 Paul has worked closely with Gzim Gashi, an accomplished and creative architectural designer who brings an added dimension and European perspective in more modern designs for both exterior and interior. Gzim Gashi’s experience in Germany, Switzerland and Kosovo/Albania incorporates a unique European creativity and vision, which merges seamlessly with Paul’s classical and elegant designs. This combination provides the perfect foundation for a natural partnership to evolve between the talents of Paul and Gzim. This partnership led to forming their new architectural design firm, Marchese Gashi Architects & Designers. Their award-winning firm offers hands-on attention at every level of the architectural as well as the construction process. The firm is experienced in a variety of styles – both old world and modern. Careful research, old and new world details, extraordinary craftsmanship, extensive travel/study and a comprehensive architectural library all contribute to each project being true to its style. All homes are personally designed by Paul and Gzim, something not found in most other architectural firms. Equal attention is given to interior design: melding the client’s preferences and needs with authenticity of style to create a unique and personal home.
